Grants For Change is led by Gail Lockwood, MSW, a seasoned grant professional with eight years of experience and more than $3 million in secured funding from public and private foundations, corporate partners, and local, state, and federal sources. Gail holds a Master of Social Work in Community and Administrative Practice from the University of Texas at Arlington and brings both operational and fund development leadership experience. Her expertise includes persuasive proposal writing, prospect research, needs assessment development, grant strategy planning, and aligning project budgets and evaluation frameworks with funder priorities. Known for her collaborative approach, Gail excels at facilitating partnerships, guiding organizations through complex funding processes, and ensuring agencies build internal capacity to sustain and renew funding. She is currently pursuing her Grant Professional Certified (GPC) credential, reflecting her continued commitment to excellence and ethical grant practice.
